In 1948, the Fuller Pharmaceutical Company opened for business in a modest South Minneapolis storefront, with four medical care products to offer to its customers. From that seed came Birchwood Laboratories.

Today, we make much more in our seven-acre facility in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, located on Fuller Road. Our medical division manufactures products that healthcare professionals rely on for wound care, incontinence, and skin-related applications. To maintain clear operational separation, our industrial division is located on the opposite end of the facility and focuses exclusively on metal finishing, with dedicated lines and its own mixing room.

Another branch, Birchwood Contract Manufacturing, is dedicated to making products on behalf of other brands. Whatever the need — bottles of shampoo, tubes of skin creams, packets for samples; we can do it all in our facility. We can source your raw materials, manufacture the products, and then test, package and ship them to your local distributor.
